"20 He who walks with wise men becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm."
Solomon ( see 10:1 ) teaches, here, that we must strive to keep company with wise men ( see also Romans 15:1-4 ( especially verse 4, for example ), for example ).
The apostle Paul ( see 1 Corinthians 1:1 ) wrote ( see 9:1; 15:9; and 16:21, for example ) something very similar in ( 15:33 ): "33 Do not be deceived: 'Bad company ruins good morals.'" As Christians ( see Acts 11:26, for example ), we must always be aware of the danger of being companions of fools.
