Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the MODERN ENGLISH VERSION ( MEV ). Psalm 119:128 reads as follows:
"128 For I follow all Your precepts to be right, and I hate every false way."
This verse in the Holy Bible has a cross-reference to Romans 7:22, which reads as follows:
"22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inner man."
What is the law of God? Psalm 119:72 teaches that the heavenly Father's ( see Matthew 5:9, 16; 6:9, 14, for example ) law comes from His mouth: it is His word ( the Holy Bible - see 2 Timothy 3:16, 17, for example ). Please read verses sixty-five through seventy-two to get the immediate context.
Do we, as Christians ( see Acts 11:26, for example ), delight in God's word? Do we study it as He has commanded us ( see Ecclesiastes 12:13, John 17:1, 3, 17, Acts 17:10-15 ( especially verse 11, for example ), and 2 Timothy 2:15, for example )? Do we hate every false way?
