The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the New Revised Standard Version ( NRSV ).  Matthew 18:15-20 read as follows:
"15  'If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone.  If the member listens to you, you have regained that one.  16 But if you are not listened to, take one or two others along with you, so that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses.  17 If the member refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.  18 Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.  19 Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.  20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.'"
From this passage in the Holy Bible, we see that Jesus ( see verses one and two ) is opposed to the concept of freedom of assembly ( He is not among the assemblies of the various false religions ): He is only among those gathered together in local congregations of the New Testament church ( the church of Christ - see Matthew 1:16 ( KJV, for example ); 16:18, Romans 16:16, and Ephesians 1:15-23 ( especially verses 22 and 23, for example ), for example ).  See also John, chapter 4 ( especially verse 24, for example ), Acts, chapter 11 ( especially verse 26, for example ), and 1 Corinthians 11:17-34 ( especially verse 18, for example ), for example.
Please study the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, John 17:1, 3, 17, and 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17, for example ).  If you have any questions about the Holy Bible, you can contact me by e-mail at:

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the MODERN ENGLISH VERSION ( MEV ).  Colossians 3:19 reads as follows:
"19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter toward them."
The heavenly Father ( see Matthew 5:9, 16; 6:9, 14, for example ), through the apostle Paul ( 1:1; 4:18, for example ), gives some "instruction in righteousness" ( see 2 Timothy 3:16 ), here, regarding the marriage relationship.
Specifically, husbands and wives may not agree on everything, for example.  A disagreement may become a sinful ( see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, John 17:1, 3, 17, and 1 John 3:4, for example ) opportunity for bitterness, but Paul warns husbands against this.  See also Ephesians 5:25 and 1 Peter 3:7, for example.  Please click on the link below to read today's bulletin regarding the book of Colossians:

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the MODERN ENGLISH VERSION ( MEV ).  Acts 24:24-27 read as follows:
"24 After several days, when Felix arrived with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess, he sent for Paul and heard him speak concerning faith in Christ.  25 As he lectured about righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix was afraid and answered, 'For now, leave!  When time permits, I will send for you.'  26 At the same time he hoped that money would be given him by Paul, that he might release him.  So he sent for him more often and conversed with him.  27 But after two years Porcius Festus succeeded Felix.  And Felix, desiring to do the Jews a favor, left Paul imprisoned."
In Exodus 24:7 ( please read verses one through eight to get the immediate context ), God's covenant people said, "All that the LORD has said we will do, and we will be obedient."  As God's covenant people today, Christians ( see Matthew 26:26-30 ( especially verse 28, for example ), Acts 2:38, 41, and 47; 8:26-40 ( especially verses 36-39, for example ); 11:19-30 ( especially verse 26, for example ), Romans 6:1-4 ( especially verses 3 and 4, for example );  10:1-4 ( especially verse 4, for example ); 15:1-4 ( especially verse 4, for example ), Hebrews, chapter 8 ( especially verse 13 ( NKJV, for example ), for example ), Hebrews, chapter 9 ( especially verses 15-22, for example ), Hebrews, chapter 10 ( especially verses 1-18, and 22, for example ), 1 Peter 1:1, 2, and Revelation 1:4-6 ( especially verses 5 and 6, for example ), for example ), will do and be obedient to all that the heavenly Father ( see Matthew 5:9, 16; 6:9, 14, for example ) has said: the implication, here, is that we will not attempt to act on His silence.
Considering verses twenty-four and twenty-five ( above ), this portion of the sacred text indicates Scriptural authority for lectureships.  Additionally, the words "admonish," "preach," "reason," and "scold," for example, are synonyms for the word "lecture."  [  See NEW ILLUSTRATED WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY Including THESAURUS of SYNONYMS and ANTONYMS, PMC Publishing Company, Inc., 118 EAST 28th STREET, NEW YORK, NY  10016,  dictionary portion: pages 1-1150, Copyright 1992, by J.G. Ferguson Publishing Company, Chicago, Illinois, ( THESAURUS, p. TH-51. ).  ]  The New Testament church ( the church of Christ - see Matthew 16:17, 18 ( especially verse 18, for example ), Romans 16:16, and Ephesians 1:15-23 ( especially verses 22 and 23, for example ), for example ) would not hold lectureships if they were not authorized in the Scriptures ( see Matthew 21:42, for example ).  Please study the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, John 17:1, 3, 17, and 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17, for example ).

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION ( ESV ).  Galatians 6:1 reads as follows:
"Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness.  Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted."
The phrase "if anyone is caught in any transgression," in verse one ( above ), has cross-references to Psalm 141:5, 2 Corinthians 2:7, Hebrews 12:13, and James 5:19.  Psalm 141:5 reads as follows:
"5 Let a righteous man strike me-it is a kindness; let him rebuke me-it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it.  Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds."
The first sentence in verse five ( above ) has cross-references to Proverbs 9:8; 19:25; 25:12; 27:6; and Ecclesiastes 7:5.  Proverbs 9:8 reads as follows:  "8 Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you."  Proverbs 19:25 reads as follows:  "25 Strike a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; reprove a man of understanding, and he will gain knowledge."  Proverbs 25:12 reads as follows:  "12 Like a gold ring or an ornament of gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear."  Proverbs 27:6 reads as follows:  "6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy."  Ecclesiastes 7:5 reads as follows:  "5 It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools."
Additionally, 2 Corinthians 2:7 reads as follows:  "7 so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow."  Hebrews 12:13 reads as follows:  "13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed."  James 5:19 reads as follows:  "19 My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back."
Considering the phrase "if anyone is caught in any transgression," in verse one, together with the first verse five, a righteous man is to strike the one caught in any transgression.  Moreover, considering the word "strike," in the first verse five, together with verse eight, to strike someone means to reprove him or her ( to verbally "strike" the person ).  The phrase "caught in any transgression" signifies an awareness of the transgression.
Taking into account verse twenty-five, the act of reproof is a learning experience for the one who receives it.  With verse twelve in mind, a wise reprover will not attempt to reprove someone who is not willing to hear it ( see also Matthew 7:1-6 ( especially verse 6, for example ), for example ).  The phrase "the wounds of a friend," in verse six, has a cross-reference to the first verse five and, thus, a friend is one who is willing to reprove someone.  Considering the second verse five, there is benefit to receiving rebuke.
Considering verse seven, once a brother or sister in Christ has been punished ( see Acts 2:38, 41, 47 ( KJV, for example ), 2 Corinthians 1:1; 2:6, and Galatians 3:26, 27, for example ), he or she must be forgiven and comforted.  The phrase "make straight paths for your feet," in verse thirteen, has a cross-reference to Proverbs 4:26, 27, which read as follows:
"26 Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.  27 Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil."
Therefore, to make straight paths for one's feet means to avoid evil.
The phrase "but rather be healed," in verse thirteen, has cross-references to James 5:16 and Galatians 6:1.  James 5:16 reads as follows:  "16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."  The phrase "so that what is lame," in verse thirteen, must be a reference to the consequences of sin in our lives.  Additionally, the phrase "may not be put out of joint," in this same verse, is a warning against continuing in the path of sin.  Specifically, if our feet are out of joint, in a spiritual sense, then we will not be able to walk ( live ) as God has commanded us to ( see Ecclesiastes 12:13, Galatians 5:25, and 1 John 5:6, for example ).
Verse sixteen teaches that once a brother or sister in Christ ( see Matthew 19:23-30 ( especially verse 28, for example ), Luke 22:14-30 ( especially verse 30, for example ), Acts 8:26-40 ( especially verses 36-39 ( KJV, for example ), for example ); 26:4-8 ( especially verse 7, for example ), Romans 6:1-4 ( especially verses 3 and 4, for example ), 1 Corinthians 6:2, Colossians 1:9-14 ( especially verses 13 and 14, for example ), Hebrews 10:15-25 ( especially verse 22, for example ), James 1:1, 1 Peter 1:1, 2, and Revelation 1:4, 5 ( especially verse 5, for example ), for example ) confesses his or her sins to us, as Christians ( see Acts 11:26, for example ) we have the responsibility to pray for the forgiveness of his or her sins; forgiveness of sins being spiritual healing ( cf. Isaiah 6:10 and Mark 4:12, for example ): the confession of such sins indicates to us what to pray for.  Returning to verse thirteen, we must repent of our sins ( see Luke 13:3, for example ), confess and forsake them ( see Proverbs 28:13, for example ); avoiding such evil so that we will have forgiveness of it.
Finally, with regard to verse one, we must restore the one caught in a transgression "in a spirit of gentleness."  We must also watch ourselves regarding the temptation to transgress God's law ( see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, John 17:1, 3, 17, 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17, and 1 John 3:4 ( KJV, for example ), for example ).  We must bring back anyone among us who "wanders from the truth" ( as we read in verse nineteen, above ).  Please read the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see Luke 8:19-21 ( especially verse 21, for example ); 11:27, 28 ( especially verse 28, for example ), and Revelation 1:1-3 ( especially verse 3, for example ), for example ).

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION ( ESV ).  Luke 23:26-49 read as follows:
"26 And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus.  27 And there followed him a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting for him.  28 But turning to them Jesus said, 'Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.  29 For behold, the days are coming when they will say, '"Blessed are the barren and the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!"'  30 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, '"Fall on us,"' and to the hills, '"Cover us."'  31 For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?'  32 Two others, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him.  33 And when they came to the place that is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left.  34 And Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.'  And they cast lots to divide his garments.  35 And the people stood by, watching, but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, 'He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!'  36 The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him sour wine 37 and saying, 'If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!'  38 There was also an inscription over him, 'This is the King of the Jews.'  39 One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, 'Are you not the Christ?  Save yourself and us!'  40 But the other rebuked him, saying, 'Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?  41 And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.'  42 And he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'  43 And he said to him, 'Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.'  44 It was now the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, 45 while the sun's light failed.  And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.  46 Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!'  And having said this he breathed his last.  47 Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, saying, 'Certainly this man was innocent!'  48 And all the crowds that had assembled for this spectacle, when they saw what had taken place, returned home beating their breasts.  49 And all his acquaintances and the women who had followed him from Galilee stood at a distance watching these things."

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION ( ESV ).  Titus 1:5-16 read as follows:
"5 This is why I left you in Crete, so that you might put what remained into order, and appoint elders in every town as I directed you- 6 if anyone is above reproach, the husband of one wife, and his children are believers and not open to the charge of debauchery or insubordination.  7 For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach.  He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined.  9 He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.  10 For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party.  11 They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach.  12 One of the Cretans, a prophet of their own, said, 'Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.'  13 This testimony is true.  Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, 14 not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and the commands of people who turn away from the truth.  15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled.  16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works.  They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work."
The apostle Paul ( see 2 Timothy 1:1 ) wrote the book of 2 Timothy, for example, to the young evangelist Timothy ( see 2 Timothy 1:2; 2:22; 4:2, for example ).  The phrase "reprove, rebuke," in 2 Timothy 4:2, has cross-references to Titus 1:13; 2:15, for example, and, thus, Titus ( see Titus 1:4 ) was also an evangelist.
Paul ( see Titus 1:1 ), in providing "training in righteousness" ( see 2 Timothy 3:16 ) to this evangelist, instructed him regarding those who were "insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers" ( see verse ten, above ), for example.  There is a problem with such insubordination in the New Testament church ( the church of Christ - see Matthew 16:18, Romans 16:16, and Ephesians 1:22, 23, for example ) today, as well: this sinful ( see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, John 17:1, 3, 17, 2 Timothy 2:15, and 1 John 3:4, for example ) behavior is not merely named among some Christian ( see Acts 11:26, for example ) men, but it is also increasingly evident among some women in the church.  These brethren must be "silenced" ( see verse eleven, above ) and "rebuked sharply" ( see verse thirteen, above ).
The problem of insubordinate women in the church can be attributed to the national feminist women's movement, which had its beginnings here in America at the University of Florida in 1969 with two female college students.  If you, the reader, were not previously aware of that fact, now you are.  This movement has since spread nationwide, if not globally, and is the basis for some of the problems experienced in marriage relationships, for example.  Wives today seem less inclined to submit to their husbands "as to the Lord" ( see Ephesians 5:22 ): they desire to throw off ( so to speak ) their God-given roles as wives and mothers ( see Titus 2:3-5, for example ) in a futile pursuit of manliness.
Yes, because of the national feminist women's movement, women are gradually losing their identities as such in today's society.  If a woman is elected to the White House, the aforementioned problems ( and others ) regarding women will only be exacerbated: the insubordinate behavior in the church must cease.

Psalm 118:8, 9 read as follows:
"8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.  9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes."
The phrase "It is better to take refuge in the LORD," in verse eight ( above ), has cross-references to Psalm 40:4; 62:8.
Psalm 40:4 reads as follows:  "4 Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!"  Psalm 62:8 reads as follows:  "8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us."  Moreover, the phrase "than to trust in man," in the first verse eight, has a cross-reference to Psalm 146:3, which reads as follows:  "3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation."
We are not to put our trust in mankind, because: the words of mankind cannot be trusted ( as indicated in Psalm 40:4 and cf. Psalm 118:8 ), and there is no salvation in mankind ( as indicated in Psalm 146:3 ).  Refuge can be taken in the LORD, because His words can be trusted: He "never lies" ( see Titus 1:2 ).  There is salvation only in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth ( see Acts 4:5-12 ( especially verses 10-12, for example), for example ).

Ecclesiastes 5:8, 9 read as follows:
"8 If you see in a province the oppression of the poor and the violation of justice and righteousness, do not be amazed at the matter, for the high official is watched by a higher, and there are yet higher ones over them.  9 But this is gain for a land in every way: a king committed to cultivated fields."
In verse eight, above, we see, in general, that the officials ( which represent the leadership of this world ) are concerned with their own interests, rather than those of the poor, or of insuring justice and righteousness.  In verse nine, the lesson is that there will be world leaders who do consider the interests of others ( see Philippians 2:4, for example ).
However, when considering Acts 4:26; 10:38 together, for example, it is clear that the leadership of this world stands opposed to Jesus of Nazareth.  Thus, while there will be those world leaders, for example, who do some good, none of the leadership of this world represents Him.  Jesus is the definition of leadership: the leadership of this world is not actually leadership.

Matthew 7:21-23 read as follows:
"21 '"Not everyone who says to me, '"'Lord, Lord,'"' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  22 On that day many will say to me, '"'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?'"'  23 And then will I declare to them, '"'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'"'"'"
Based on the above-given passage from the Holy Bible, Jesus ( see Matthew 4:17 ) is opposed to the concept of freedom of religion ( the justifying of false religion ).
Since Christ was speaking in all of the apostles, we can rightly conclude that all of them were likewise opposed to the concept of freedom of religion.  As Christians ( see Acts 11:26, for example ) today, in imitating Him ( see 1 Corinthians 11:1, for example ), we will also be opposed to the concept of freedom of religion.  Please study the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, John 17:1, 3, 17, and 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17, for example ).

The Holy Bible.

Pictured at the top left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the King James Version ( KJV ).  Below that is a copy of the Koran.  SURA CIX ( UNBELIEVERS ) reads as follows:
"[1] SAY: O ye UNBELIEVERS!  [2] I worship not that which ye worship, [3] and ye do not worship that which I worship; [4] I shall never worship that which ye worship, [5] neither will ye worship that which I worship.  [6] To you be your religion; to me my religion."
There is a footnote associated with the above-given passage from the Koran, which reads as follows:
"1 This Sura is said to have been revealed when Walid urged Muhammed to consent that his God should be worshipped at the same time with the old Meccan deities, or alternately every year.  Hishami, p. 79; Tabari, p. 139.  It is a distinct renunciation of Meccan idolatry, as the following Sura is a distinct recognition of the Divine Unity."  [  See THE KORAN, Rodwell, J.M., DOVER PUBLICATIONS, INC., Mineola, New York, "This Dover edition, first published in 2005, is an unabridged republication of the work first published by J.M. Dent & Sons Ltd., London, in 1909.," p. 29.  ]
Actually, SURA CIX ( UNBELIEVERS ), especially verse six, is a claim of freedom of religion.  The concept of freedom of religion ( the justifying of false religion ) is condemned in the Holy Bible ( see Matthew 7:21-23, for example ).
Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."  In making this statement, He rules out Buddha, Confucius, Mohammed, and everyone else.  There is one true religion, Christianity: Judaism became obsolete when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, though we can still learn from it ( see Luke 23:26-49 ( especially verse 33, for example ), Romans 10:1-4 ( especially verse 4, for example ); 15:1-4 ( especially verse 4, for example ), Colossians 2:11-17 ( especially verse 14, for example ), Hebrews, chapter 8 ( especially verse 13 ( NKJV, for example ), for example ), Hebrews, chapter 9 ( especially verses 12-18, for example ), and Hebrews, chapter 10 ( especially verses 1-18, 22, for example ), for example ).
The heavenly Father ( see Matthew 5:9, 16; 6:9, 14, for example ) revealed nothing to Mohammed: there have been no miracles since the apostle John finished writing the book of Revelation circa A.D. 95 or 96 ( see Mark 16:19, 20 ( especially verse 20, for example ) and 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 ( especially verses 8-10, for example ), for example, and cf. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 ( especially verse 16, for example ), for example ).  Moreover, the true nature of God is defined by the Godhead, namely: God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Ghost ( see John 10:30, Romans 1:20, Colossians 2:8, 9, and 1 John 5:6-8, for example ); not the Divine Unity mentioned above.  Finally, Jesus ( see John 8:21 ) said in verse twenty-four, "24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."
The Koran is not God's word: it is a religious counterfeit.  Islam is false religion because Mohammed was a false prophet.  Please study the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, John 17:1, 3, 17, and 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17, for example ).

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the MODERN ENGLISH VERSION ( MEV ).  Psalm 119:128 reads as follows:
"128 For I follow all Your precepts to be right, and I hate every false way."
This verse in the Holy Bible has a cross-reference to Romans 7:22, which reads as follows:
"22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inner man."
What is the law of God?  Psalm 119:72 teaches that the heavenly Father's ( see Matthew 5:9, 16; 6:9, 14, for example ) law comes from His mouth: it is His word ( the Holy Bible - see 2 Timothy 3:16, 17, for example ).  Please read verses sixty-five through seventy-two to get the immediate context.
Do we, as Christians ( see Acts 11:26, for example ), delight in God's word?  Do we study it as He has commanded us ( see Ecclesiastes 12:13, John 17:1, 3, 17, Acts 17:10-15 ( especially verse 11, for example ), and 2 Timothy 2:15, for example )?  Do we hate every false way?

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION ( ESV ).  Acts 4:26 reads as follows:
"26 'The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers were gathered together, against the Lord and against his Anointed.'"
The word "Anointed," in verse twenty-six ( above ), has a cross-reference to Acts 10:38, which reads as follows:  "38 'how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power.  He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.'"
Thus, the word "Anointed," in verse twenty-six, refers to Jesus of Nazareth ( cf. verse thirty-eight, above ).  Based on the sacred text of this initial verse in the Holy Bible, the leadership of the earth ( this world ) stands in opposition to Jesus.  Since He is the definition of leadership, we can rightly conclude that the leadership of this world is actually not leadership, and they are sinners ( anyone who stands opposed to Jesus is a sinner - see Matthew 26:36-46 ( especially verse 45, for example ), for example ).  Whatever the case may be, as Christians ( see Acts 11:26, for example ) we have been commanded by God to submit to the governing authorities ( see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, 151, Ecclesiastes 12:13, Romans 13:1-7 ( especially verse 1, for example ), and 2 Timothy 3:16, 17, for example ).
Although it may seem unfair and unpleasant to submit to sinners, at times in this life ( see Acts 5:27-32 ( especially verse 29, for example ), for example ), it is important to realize that we are ultimately submitting to the Lord ( see 1 Peter 2:13, 14 ( especially verse 13, for example ), for example ).  Jesus, in submitting to sinners at the cross of Calvary, was ultimately submitting to the heavenly Father ( see Matthew 5:9, 16; 6:9, 14, Mark 14:32-42 ( especially verse 36, for example ), Luke 23:26-49 ( especially verse 33 ( KJV, for example ), for example ), John 1:1, 14; 3:16, 17; 10:30, Romans 1:20 ( see Romans 1:20 ( KJV, for example; with center-column references, for example ) to get the equivalent translation for the word "Godhead" ), Colossians 2:8, 9, ( KJV, for example ), and 1 John 5:6-8 ( KJV, for example ), for example ): follow Him ( see Matthew 9:9, for example ).  Please study the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see John 17:1, 3, 17 and 2 Timothy 2:15, for example ).

The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION ( ESV ).  2 Corinthians 13:1-4 read as follows:
"This is the third time I am coming to you.  Every charge must be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.  2 I warned those who sinned before and all the others, and I warn them now while absent, as I did when present on my second visit, that if I come again I will not spare them- 3 since you seek proof that Christ is speaking in me.  He is not weak in dealing with you, but is powerful among you.  4 For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God.  For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God."
The phrase "is speaking in me," in verse three ( above ), has a cross-reference to Matthew 10:20, which reads as follows:  "20 'For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.'"  The phrase "the Spirit of your Father speaking through you," in verse twenty, has a cross-reference to John 15:26, which reads as follows:  "26 'But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.'"
The phrase "Christ is speaking in me," in verse three, indicates that Christ was speaking in the apostle Paul ( see 2 Corinthians 1:1; 10:1, for example ).  In the context of Matthew, chapter ten, Jesus ( see Matthew 9:35 ) called His twelve apostles to him ( see verses one and two ), whose names are given in verses two through four: Jesus sent these twelve men out on the limited commission ( to "the lost sheep of the house of Israel" - see verse six ).  In the context of Him warning His apostles of the persecution that would follow ( see verses sixteen through twenty-five ), He made the statement recorded in verse twenty.  Thus, we can rightly conclude that: Christ was speaking in all of the apostles, and Him speaking in the apostles was the same as the Holy Spirit ( see John 14:6, Romans 1:20 ( see Romans 1:20 ( KJV, for example; with center-column references, for example ) to get the equivalent translation for the word "Godhead" ), Colossians 2:8, 9 ( KJV, for example ), and 1 John 5:6-8 ( KJV, for example ), for example ) speaking in them.  The message of Christ in His apostles had to be the same as that of the Holy Spirit in them, namely, the truth.
There are no more human apostles with miraculous powers today: the apostle John was the last one, and he died circa 100 A.D.  One of the qualifications for a human apostle, in this context ( and not merely as a messenger - see 2 Corinthians 8:23, for example ), was that he witnessed the resurrected Lord Jesus ( see Acts 1:21, 22, for example ).  Moreover, miracles are not occurring today ( see Mark 16:19, 20 ( especially verse 20, for example ), 1 Corinthians 13:1-10 ( especially verse 10, for example ), and cf. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 ( especially verse 16, for example ), for example ).  Therefore, any man who claims such a status today is a liar: he would have to be well nigh 2000 years old, according to the qualification given above.
Clearly, we have not seen anyone that old walking around today.  The concept of apostolic succession is false doctrine.  Please study the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17, for example ).
