The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the REVISED STANDARD VERSION ( RSV ).  James 1:27 reads as follows:
"27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
As Christians ( see Acts 11:26, for example ), one way to keep ourselves unstained from the world ( as we read in verse twenty-seven, above ) is by avoiding worldly music.
Once one has been buried with Christ Jesus by baptism into death, he or she is raised to walk in newness of life ( see Romans 6:3, 4 ).  Our old self "was crucified with him so that the sinful body might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin" ( see verse six ).  This means that we stop participating in sinful ( see 1 John 3:4, for example ) activities, whatever they may be.

Also, please study the Holy Bible ( which is God's word - see Psalm 119:65-73, 142, and 151; John 17:1, 3, and 17; and 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16, 17, for example ).  If you have any questions about the Holy Bible, you can contact me by e-mail at:
