The Holy Bible.

Pictured to the left is a copy of a version of the Holy Bible, known as the ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION ( ESV ).  The following quotation is taken from this version of the Holy Bible:  "The English Standard Version (ESV) stands in the classic mainstream of English Bible translations over the past half-millennium.  The fountainhead of that stream was William Tyndale's New Testament of 1526; marking its course were the King James Version of 1611 (KJV), the English Revised Version of 1885 (RV), the American Standard Version of 1901 (ASV), and the Revised Standard Version of 1952 and 1971 (RSV).  In that stream, faithfulness to the text and vigorous pursuit of accuracy were combined with simplicity, beauty, and dignity of expression.  Our goal has been to carry forward this legacy for a new century."  [  See The HOLY BIBLE, ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION, CROSSWAY BIBLES, WHEATON, ILLINOIS, The Personal Size Reference Bible, English Standard Version (ESV), Copyright 2007 by Crossway Bibles, p. vii.  ]  Galatians 1:11, 12 read as follows:  "For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel.  For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ" ( please read Galatians 1:1-12 to get the immediate context ).
The phrase "through a revelation of Jesus Christ," in Galatians 1:12, has a cross-reference to 1 Corinthians 2:10.  1 Corinthians 2:9, 10 read as follows:  "But, as it is written, 'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him'-these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit.  For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God" ( please read all of 1 Corinthians, chapter 2, to get the context ).  1 John 5:6 reads as follows:  "This is he who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood.  And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth" ( emphasis mine, R.E.W. ).
Thus, with all of the above-given passages from the Holy Bible in mind, the gospel that the apostle Paul ( see Galatians 1:1 ) preached was, in fact, the truth: it was not man's gospel, which involves false teaching.  A Bible video ( associated with the following link ) has been included for you, the reader, to view.  Please click on the link below:
